選択された50人のうち、5人が試験を中止し、試験を完遂した45人を解析対象とした（30～49歳、平均年齢36.8±5.4歳、(A群;37.5±5.9歳、B群;37.0±5.2歳、C群;34.5±3.3歳、D群;38.1±6.9歳、E群;37.2±5.6歳)）。

Of the 50 selected patients, 5 discontinued the study and 45 who completed the study were included in the analysis (aged 30-49 years, mean age 36.8 +/- 5.4 years, (Group A; 37.5 +/- 5.9 years, Group B; 37.0 +/- 5.2 years, Group C; 34.5 +/- 3.3 years, Group D; 38.1 +/- 6.9 years, Group E; 37.2 +/- 5.6 years).

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

クレンジングのみ使用するグループ（A群）、化粧品2種（クレンジング、洗顔料）を使用するグループ（B群）、化粧品4種を使用するグループ（C群）、過酸化ベンゾイル軟膏（以下、対照品と記す）と特定の化粧品4種を使用するグループ（D群）、「アゼライン酸配合クリーム」と化粧品4種を併用するグループ（E群）の5グループに無作為に割りつけ、測定者をブラインドとする遮蔽試験とした。
A群・B群・C群・D群・E群の5グループに10人ずつ割付けし、自己都合による理由で、5人の脱落者（B群3人、D群2人）があり、45人が試験を完遂した。

The subjects were randomly assigned to 5 groups: a group using only cleansing (group A), a group using 2 cosmetics (cleanser and face wash) (group B), a group using 4 cosmetics (group C), a group using benzoyl peroxide ointment (hereinafter referred to as "control product") and 4 specific cosmetics (group D), and a group using "cream containing azelaic acid" and 4 cosmetics together (group E). Group E was a shielded study in which the subjects were blinded.
Ten patients were assigned to each of five groups (Group A, B, C, D, and E), and 45 completed the study, with five dropouts (three in Group B and two in Group D) for reasons of personal reasons.
