日本語
停留精巣の診断は主に触診で行われ、鼠径部から陰嚢までを観察する。従来は出生時に停留精巣であっても1歳過ぎまでは自然下降が期待されるとされていた。しかし近年の疫学調査により精巣の自然下降は生後3か月（早期産で6か月）までであることが判明し、停留精巣に対する精巣固定術は生後6か月から18か月までに行うことが推奨されている。適切な時期に精巣固定術を行うためにも停留精巣の診断は適切な時期に適切な判断を行うことが重要である。小児科および泌尿器科研修医に対して簡便な診察方法の指導を行い、その指導方法の有用性を評価する。

Diagnosis of cryptorchidism is primarily by palpation, looking from the groin to the scrotum. Previously, it was thought that even if a child had cryptorchidism at birth, spontaneous descent would be expected until after 1 year of age. However, recent epidemiological studies have revealed that spontaneous descending of the testis is up to 3 months after birth (6 months in preterm birth), and testicular fixation should be performed from 6 months to 18 months after birth for cryptorchidism. is recommended. It is important to make an appropriate diagnosis of cryptorchidism at an appropriate time so that orchiopexy can be performed at an appropriate time. We will teach pediatrics and urology residents about simple examination methods, and evaluate the usefulness of these methods.
