1. 東京都内または近郊に在住の3～8ヵ月(7.5kg以下)の日本人乳児
2. テープ型Sサイズおむつを終日使用している乳児
3. 普段からおむつ皮膚炎が気になると親権者が認める乳児

1. 3-8 months old (less than 7.5kg) Japanese infants who lives in or near Tokyo.
2. Infants who use tape-type s size diaper all day.
3. Infants whose parents admit that they are worried about diaper dermatitis.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1. 慢性疾患または先天性疾患の診断を受けている乳児
2. 試験開始時に通院治療、もしくは投薬を受けている乳児
3. 試験開始1か月前から試験開始時までに感染性疾患に罹患した乳児
4. 試験開始1か月前から試験開始時までに抗生剤、ステロイド剤、薬用洗浄料を使用した乳児

1. Infants who are under medical treatment or on medication for skin trouble.
2. Infants who were diagnosed with any disease among chronic disease and congenital disorder.
3. Infants who were affected with infectious disorder from one month before the start of the test to the start of the test.
4. Infants who used antibiotics, steroids, or medicated cleaning agents from one month before the start of the test to the start of the test.

主な結果/Results

被験おむつ使用群では、使用2 週間後で、使用前および使用1 週間後に比較して有意に皮疹スコアが低下し、対照おむつ使用群ではそのような変化は認められなかった。被験おむつ使用により皮疹が軽減することが示唆された。
また、被験おむつ使用後では、臀部の皮疹スコアが低いほど臀部皮膚上菌叢における腸内細菌類の比率が有意に低く、皮疹スコアが低いほど皮膚常在菌類の比率が高い傾向がみられた。被験おむつ使用により皮膚菌叢が変化した可能性が示唆された。

In the test-diaper group, rash scores decreased significantly after 2 weeks versus baseline and week 1, while no significant change was seen in the control group, indicating that the test diaper alleviated rash. After use, lower buttock rash scores were linked to fewer intestinal bacteria and a higher proportion of resident fungi in buttock skin flora, suggesting a change in skin microbiota.

＜スクリーニング試験＞
・現行メリーズを使用してもらい、おむつ被覆部内の皮膚の写真を親権者に撮影してもらい、試験担当者が皮疹を評価し、本試験参加者を選抜
＜本試験＞
・参加者を2 群に群分け
・被験おむつまたは対照おむつを2 週間使用し、愛用品おむつを2 週間使用する試験を実施
・各おむつ使用前、使用1 週間後、使用2 週後、および愛用品に戻してから2 週間後に評価を実施
