本研究の目的は、健常者を対象として外骨格ロボットスーツHAL を装着したときの、脳活動の検討である。外骨格ロボットスーツHALは脳神経疾患患者において、装着して運動訓練を行うことで、運動機能障害を改善するが、これは筋・関節の作用を改善するともに脳活動を変化させると考えられる。しかし、HAL前・中・後で脳活動を評価した報告はこれまでのところない。そこで、基礎的知見を得るため、まず健常者で脳活動を検討する。

The aim of this study is to examine the brain activity changes by wearing the Wearable Cyborg HAL in healthy subjects. The Wearable Cyborg HAL improves motor function by wearing the suit and performing motor training in patients with cerebral neurological diseases. This is thought to improve muscle and joint action as well as to change the brain activity. However, there have been no reports on the evaluation of brain activity before, during, and after motor training. Therefore, we will examine the brain activity changes in healthy subjects in order to obtain the basic knowledge.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
説明を理解し、同意が確認できる18から85歳の健常者で、脳神経疾患の既往及び上下肢の運動障害が無い方を対象とする。また、HAL装置を装着可能な体格で、HALを装着して運動（歩行、スクワット、上肢の肘屈伸のいずれかの運動）が可能な方を対象とする。

Healthy subjects between the ages of 18 and 85 years old who have no history of cerebral nerve disease or upper and lower limb movement disorders and have sufficient understanding and consent. In addition, those who physically fit enough to wear the HAL and be able to exercise (walking, squatting, or bending exercise of the elbow) with the HAL are targeted.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

１　コントロールされていない循環器疾患がある
２　コントロールされていない呼吸器疾患がある
３　説明や指示を理解困難な認知機能障害がある
４　関節拘縮などの関節障害がある
５　脳神経疾患の既往がある

3 Those who have cognitive dysfunction that makes it difficult to understand explanations and instructions

本研究は、健常者においてHALを用いた運動を行うことで生じる脳活動変化を検討する前向き時系列分析である。まず、HALを装着しない状態で運動を行い（HAL前）、その後HALを装着して運動を行い（HAL中）、再度HALを装着しない状態で運動を行う（HAL後）。運動は以下3種類の内1種類を実施する。HAL前・中・後において脳活動を脳波計にて計測する。また、主観的運動感覚についてVASを行う。
対象者は京都大学生協の掲示板やシルバー人材センターを利用して募集する。本研究への参加意思があり、選択規準を満たし、除外規準に該当しない男女に対し、研究内容を説明し、参加に対する同意を書面にて取得する。研究対象者の募集期間は2025年2月28日までとする。

This study is a prospective time series analysis to investigate the brain activity changes induced by exercise using HAL in healthy subjects. First, the subjects exercise without HAL, then exercise with HAL, and again exercise without HAL. One of the following three types of exercise is performed (walking, squatting, or bending exercise of elbow). Brain activity is measured by electroencephalography before, during, and after exercise. The subjective motor sensation is also measured by VAS.
Subjects are recruited using the bulletin board in the Kyoto University Co-op and the Silver Human Resource Center. Those who meet the selective criteria, and do not meet the exclusion are informed of the study and given written consent. The recruitment period for the research subjects will be until February 28, 2025.
