この研究では、催眠薬を服用中の患者2840人が掘られた。催眠薬を服用している入院患者2860人のうち211人（7.4％）に転倒事故が報告された。Zドラッグ服用者は、催眠薬の中で最も転倒事故率が低かった。転倒の独立因子を特定するために，2つの発散変数を用いて決定木アルゴリズムを作成し，患者を3群に分類して解析した。SIDEレベルを最初の分岐変数とした。平衡感覚障害は最初の分岐変数であった。SIDEレベル≦2aの患者における転倒の割合は14.7％であった。一方、SIDEレベル≧2bの患者の転倒率は2.9％であった。

This study included 2840 patients taking hypnotics dug. Falls accidents were reported for 211 (7.4%) of 2860 inpatients taking hypnotic drugs. We analyzed to identify independent factors for falls, a decision tree algorithm was created using two divergence variables and classifying the patients into three groups. The SIDE levels were the initial divergence variable. Balance disorder was the initial divergence variable.
