目的/Objectives
目的1/Narrative objectives1	東京医科歯科大学歯学部付属病院歯周病外来に受診した新患患者に関する情報の収集と歯周病と全身疾患、喫煙習慣等との間の相関関係の有無を解析することを目的としている。	The purpose of this study was to collect information on new patients who visited the periodontal clinic in Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) Hospital and to analyze whether there is a correlation between periodontal disease and systemic diseases, and smoking habits.

目的2 -その他詳細/Basic objectives -Others	近年、高齢化社会により様々な全身疾患を有した患者が多くなっている。また、歯周病は糖尿病や心臓血管疾患などの全身疾患やメタボリックシンドロームなどに影響を及ぼしていることが報告されており、歯周治療の重要性は高い。海外などの報告では、歯周病と全身疾患、メタボリックシンドロームなどへの関連性が数多く報告されているが、本学ではこれらの調査は未だに実施されていない。そのため、本学へ初診で受診した患者に対して、調査を行う。	In recent years, the number of patients with various systemic diseases has increased due to the aging society. In addition, it has been reported that periodontal disease has an impact on systemic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, as well as metabolic syndrome. There have been many reports from overseas on the relationship between periodontal disease and systemic diseases and metabolic syndrome, but the survey to reveal such relationships has not yet been conducted at TMDU hospital. For this reason, we will conduct a survey of patients who have firstly visited the periodontal clinic in TMDU hospital.

評価/Assessment
主要アウトカム評価項目/Primary outcomes	初診時に口腔内診査を行いDMFT(う蝕歯、欠損歯、処置歯数）、Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Needs (CPITN), 歯周ポケット深さ（PPD)を横断的に調査する。	A cross-sectional survey of DMFT (number of caries teeth, missing teeth, and filled teeth), Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Needs (CPITN), and periodontal pocket depth (PPD) will be performed at the first visit.
