Studies are included if they report primary research, describe or evaluate mental health problems of the concerned population written in English or Arabic.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

レター、コメンタリー、エディトリアル、オピニオン、ケースレポート、スタディプロトコール、尺度標準化研究、レビューは除外する。
バイオマーカーや遺伝情報を扱った基礎実験研究も除外する。

Letters to the editor, commentaries, editorials, opinions, case reports, study protocols, measurement validation studies, and review articles are excluded. Basic experimental researches involving biomarkers and genes are also excluded.

日本語
うつ病は最も多く調査された精神的健康問題であった。メタアナリシスの結果、プールされたうつ病の全有病率は34.0％であり、95％信頼区間は27.4～40.6であった。うつ病有病率のサブグループ分析は、青少年の精神的健康の悪化の可能性を示唆していた。うつ病に加えて、感情的／行動的症状、不安、心的外傷後ストレス障害（PTSD）、注意欠陥／多動性障害（ADHD）、摂食障害、薬物使用などのメンタルヘルス問題が文献で議論されている。メンタルヘルスと心理社会的介入を扱った研究は3件あるが、いずれも有効性を実証していない。

Depression was the most examined mental health problem. The subgroup analysis of depression prevalence implied a possible deterioration of mental health. In addition to depression, mental health issues such as emotional/behavioural symptoms, anxiety, PTSD, attention ADHD, eating disorders, and substance use have been discussed. Although three studies addressed mental health and psychosocial interventions, none demonstrated efficacy.

収録された研究のほとんどは、定量的観察デザインであった（N = 48）。そのうち5件はCOVID-19パンデミック後に実施されたものであった。パンデミック前に実施されたその他の観察研究は、対象集団のカテゴリー（一般（N=24）、難民（N=16）、その他（N=3））に従って要約された。さらに、3件の介入研究と2件の質的研究が含まれた。量的観察研究48件のうち、横断的研究は42件、縦断的研究は6件であった。サンプリング方法については、48件中22件がランダムサンプリングであり、その他はコンビニエンスサンプリングであった。文献で確認されたメンタルヘルス問題は、うつ病（N=21）、感情/行動症状（N=9）、不安（N=8）、心的外傷後ストレス障害（PTSD、N=6）、注意欠陥/多動性障害（ADHD、N=3）、摂食障害（N=3）、物質使用（N=3）、その他（自殺傾向、インターネット中毒、社会恐怖症、心理的ストレス、健康、ウェルビーイング、N=8）であった。各精神的健康問題についての調査結果は、以下の項で述べる。

Most of included studies had quantitative observational design (N = 48). Among them, five were conducted after the COVID-19 pandemic. Other observational studies conducted before the pandemic were summarised according to the categories of target population: general (N=24), refugees (N=16), and others (N=3). In addition, three interventional studies and two qualitative studies were included. Of the 48 quantitative observational studies, 42 and six had cross-sectional and longitudinal designs, respectively. Regarding the sampling methods, 22 of 48 used random sampling, whereas the others employed convenience sampling. The mental health issues identified in the literature included depression (N=21), emotional/behavioural symptoms (N=9), anxiety (N=8), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD, N=6), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD, N=3), eating disorders (N=3), substance use (N=3), and others (suicidality, internet addiction, social phobia, psychological stress, health, and wellbeing; N=8). The findings for each mental health issue are mentioned in the following sections.

系統的な文献検索をPubMed, PsycINFO, Global health, Embaseを用いて実施する。 検索用語は、“mental health” or “psychological stress” or “mental disorder” combined with terms for “child or adolescent” and “Jordan”である。データは標準化したフォームを用いて1名の研究者が実施し、他の研究者が正確性を確認する。抽出するデータは、著者、出版年、研究実施年、研究目的、対象群、方法論、主要な結果である。

A systematic search is conducted in the following databases from January 2016 to December 2021: Pubmed, PsycINFO, Global health, and Embase. Studies are identified using search terms for "mental health" "psychological stress" or "mental disorder" combined with terms for "child or adolescent" and "Jordan". Data are extracted using standardised forms entered into Excel by one researcher and verified for accuracy and completeness by another. Any discrepancies are resolved through the discussion among the whole research team. Extracted data included first author, year of publication, study period, study purpose, target population, methodology used, and key findings.
