2)高齢者群は除菌時年齢が70歳以上、若年者群は除菌時年齢が45歳以下

主な結果/Results

日本語
この研究は221人の患者を対象とした（高齢者群123人、若年者群98人）。組織学的萎縮では、肛門より体部の改善率が高く、肛門の治癒率は高齢者群で若年者群より低かった（p = 0.0282）。腸管形質転換については、肛門の改善率は若年者より高齢者で低かった。長期観察では、肛門の治癒率は高齢者で低かったが、萎縮スコアではほとんどの患者で、腸管形質転換スコアでは約半数の患者で改善がみられた。
以上より，H. pylori除菌療法を若年で施行した方が胃粘膜の改善は明らかであるが，高齢者であっても除菌後の約半数で粘膜の改善が期待できる。
