目的1/Narrative objectives1

本研究の目的は、「継続的な舌筋訓練によりダウン症者の舌圧は上昇し、発音機能および摂食嚥下機能は向上し口腔内細菌数も減少する」という仮説のもと、棒付き飴を用いた舐摂訓練がダウン症者の舌圧や発音機能、細菌数といった口腔機能に及ぼす影響を明らかし、ダウン症者における舐摂訓練の有効性を検討することである。

The purpose of this study is based on the hypothesis that "continuous tongue muscle training increases tongue pressure in people with Down syndrome, improves pronunciation and swallowing functions, and reduces the number of bacteria in the oral cavity." To clarify the effects of licking training using the above on oral function such as tongue pressure, pronunciation function, and bacterial count in Down's syndrome patients, and to examine the effectiveness of licking training in Down's syndrome patients.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

① 同意取得時の年齢が16歳以上、60歳以下の者
② 舌圧値が0kPa以上の者（舌圧検査を行える者）
③ 研究参加中に他の棒付き飴を舐めないことと本研究で決められたスケジュール以外では飴をなめないこと、研究期間中に家庭でのオーラルケアの方法を変更しないことに承諾いただける患者さん
④ 本研究の参加に関して代諾者からの、加えて可能であれば本人からの同意が文書で得られる者

1, Those who are 16 years old or older and 60 years old or younger at the time of obtaining consent
2, Those who have a tongue pressure value of 0 kPa or more (those who can perform a tongue pressure test)
3, Patients who agree not to lick other stick candy while participating in the study, not to lick candy except for the schedule decided in this study, and not to change the method of oral care at home during the study period.
4, A person who can obtain written consent from the surrogate, if possible, from the person who participated in this study.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
永久歯列が完成し、摂食・嚥下機能が完成する年齢の下限として16歳と設定し、可能な範囲で高齢者のデータを集積する目的から60歳を上限と設定した。16歳は未成年であるが、永久歯列は完成し咬合力は成人と比較して変わりと考えられる。本研究では対象となり得る人数が少ないことが予想されるため、未成年であっても対象とする。
②③④：本研究を実施するにあたっての必要事項として設定した。

The lower limit of the age at which the permanent dentition is completed and the eating and swallowing function is completed is set to 16 years, and the upper limit is set to 60 years for the purpose of collecting data on the elderly as much as possible. Although 16 years old is a minor, the permanent dentition is completed and the quotient force is considered to be different from that of adults. Since it is expected that the number of people that can be targeted in this study is small, even minors will be targeted.
