悪性腫瘍に関連した血栓症(Cancer-VTE)が臨床現場にて散見され治療の優先順位に苦慮することも多い。Cancer-VTEの発症予測評価スコアとしては国際的にはKhoranaスコアやViennaスコアが知られているが、BMI値35kg/m2以上が点数化の指標になっており、さらには遺伝的な背景の異なる日本人にこれらのスコアがふさわしいかどうか疑問である。

Thrombosis associated with malignant dieases (Cancer-VTE) is often found in clinical practice and it is often difficult to prioritize treatment. The Khorana score and Vienna score are known internationally as the cancer-VTE onset prediction evaluation score, but the BMI value of 35 kg / m2 or more is an index for scoring, and the genetic background is different. It is doubtful that if these scores are appropriate for the Japanese.

現時点において「日本版Khoranaスコア」に値する確固たる指標は存在しておらず、今回全国のがんセンター19施設にてタッグを組むことにより「日本版Khoranaスコア」を確立し、がんセンター発のエビデンスを創出することでCancer-VTEのさきがけのとなりうることが期待される。

2019年4月1日から6月30日までの3か月間に参加施設にて新たに悪性腫瘍と診断された全患者様(外来・入院問わず)。
