主な結果/Results

日本語
様々な比率で作成された図形，分割線の方向など，いずれの点から検討しても，統合失調症患者は健常者と比較して対称性を選好する頻度が高いことが明らかになった。統合失調症患者の対称性選好には陰性症状や陽性症状と正の関連が，一方，総合精神病理尺度とは負の関連が認められた。アイカメラについては分析中である。

It became clear that patients with schizophrenia showed a higher frequency of preference for symmetry compared to healthy individuals. A positive correlation was observed between schizophrenia patients' symmetry preference and both negative and positive symptoms, while a negative correlation was found with the general psychopathology scale. Analysis of the data from eye camera is currently underway.

参加者背景/Baseline Characteristics

統合失調症患者：A病院精神科外来通院および入院患者で，DSM-IV-TRに基づいて統合失調症と診断され，研究参加が可能であると主治医が判断した統合失調症患者であった。
健常者：ポスター掲示の研究参加募集により，参加申し込みがあった大学生，大学院生，および病院職員などであった。統合失調症患者と年齢をマッチングさせた。

Patients with schizophrenia: Participants included outpatients and inpatients at Hospital A's psychiatric department diagnosed with schizophrenia based on DSM-IV-TR criteria and deemed eligible for the study by their attending physician.
Healthy individuals: University students, graduate students, and hospital staff who applied to participate after seeing the study recruitment poster. The ages were matched to patients with schizophrenia.

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

統合失調症患者：面接室において，1対1の対面式で実施した。図形分割課題実施後，描画の感想を口頭で尋ね，その後，主治医がPANSSにより精神症状を評価した。アイカメラを用いた際は，参加者はアイカメラを装着し，試行毎にディスプレイ上に呈示された刺激をながめ，タッチペンを使い分割線を移動させることで図形分割課題を遂行した。
健常者：大学の会議室や個室において，1対1の対面式で実施した。図形分割課題実施後，独自に作成したアンケート用紙に基本属性と描画の感想を無記名で記入するよう依頼した。アイカメラを用いた際は，参加者はアイカメラを装着し，試行毎にディスプレイ上に呈示された刺激をながめ，タッチペンを使い分割線を移動させることで図形分割課題を遂行した。

Patients with schizophrenia: The study was conducted in a one-on-one face-to-face format in an interview room. After completing the figure- splitting task, participants were verbally asked about their impressions of the drawing. Subsequently, the attending physician assessed psychiatric symptoms using the PANSS. When using the eye camera, participants wore the device, viewed the stimulus presented on the display for each trial, and performed the figure-splitting task by moving the dividing line using a touch pen.
Healthy controls: The study was conducted in a one-on-one face-to-face format in university conference rooms or private rooms. After completing the figure-splitting task, participants were asked to anonymously fill out a specially designed questionnaire with basic attributes and their impressions of the drawing. When using the eye camera, participants wore the device, viewed the stimulus presented on the display for each trial, and performed the figure-splitting task by moving the dividing line using a touch pen.

健常者：ポスター掲示により参加申し込みがあり、研究参加の同意を得た大学生、大学院生、及び職員
患者：精神科外来通院患者および入院患者のうち、ICD-10において統合失調症と診断された患者で、
主治医が研究参加が可能であると判断し、書面にて研究の同意を得た患者（20歳以上）。

Healthy subjects: University students, graduate students, and staff who applied to participate through poster display and gave their consent to participate in the study.
Patients: Psychiatric outpatients and inpatients diagnosed with schizophrenia according to ICD-10, whose attending physicians have determined that they are eligible to participate in the study and who have given written consent (20 years of age or older).
