目的/Objectives
目的1/Narrative objectives1 一般人では唾液αアミラーゼは精神的ストレスと関係することが報告されているものの、神経変性疾患患者では詳細は不明である。本研究では、交感神経障害を高頻度に合併するパーキンソン病患者における唾液αアミラーゼと精神的ストレスとの関連を検討した。 Although salivary alpha amylase has been reported to be associated with psychological stress in the general population, the details are unknown in patients with neurodegenerative diseases. In the present study, we examined the relation between salivary alpha amylase and psychological stress in patients with Parkinson's disease, which is frequently associated with sympathetic neuropathy.

主な結果/Results パーキンソン病（ＰＤ）群と対照群の唾液αアミラーゼ(sAA)値に差はなかった。一方、対照群の自覚的ストレスはPD群より高値であった。sAAはPDでは精神的ストレスを反映していたものの、健常者では精神的ストレスではなく年齢と極めて高い関連性がみられた。 There was no difference in salivary alpha-amylase(sAA) levels between the Parkinson's disease (PD) and control groups, while subjective stress in the control group was higher than in the PD group. On the other hand, subjective stress in the control group was higher than that in the PD group. sAA reflected mental stress in PD, but was highly related to age, not mental stress, in healthy subjects.
