近年高齢ドライバーによる事故が相次ぎ、2017 年3月に施行された改正道路交通法では75歳以上の運転者は免許更新時等に認知機能検査を受けることが義務づけられた。その検査で認知機能低下やその恐れがあると判定されたものは医師の診断書の提出が求められる。この診断書の作成にあたり医師は運転可否について見解を求められるが、 実際の運転能力を適格に反映し、通常の診療体制のなかでも効率的に実施できるような評価法は開発されていない。以前より当院では評価の一助として視線計測装置を用いている。装置は設置が簡便で、実際の運転場面に近い設定で視空間性の注意を評価できることなどその有用性を確認している。そこで本研究では、高齢ドライバーの運転能力を簡便に評価することのできる、視線計を用いた評価法（以下、視線評価）の開発を目的とした。

In recent years, there has been a rash of accidents involving elderly drivers, and the revised Road Traffic Law, which came into effect in March 2017, requires drivers over the age of 75 to undergo a cognitive function test when renewing their licenses. If the test determines that the driver's cognitive function has declined or is at risk of declining, the driver is required to submit a medical certificate. However, no evaluation method has been developed that can reflect the actual driving ability of the patient and can be conducted efficiently within the normal medical system. For a long time, we have been using a gaze measurement device as an aid to evaluation in our clinic. The device is easy to install, and we have confirmed its usefulness in assessing visuospatial attention in a setting close to that of actual driving situations. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop an evaluation method using a gaze-measuring device (hereinafter referred to as "gaze evaluation") that can easily evaluate the driving ability of elderly drivers.

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

当院に通院している外来患者、通所・外来リハビリ患者、および一般に募集した運転免許をもつ75歳以上の対象者に対して、同一運転映像を「自分が運転しているつもり」で観察して貰う.その他の評価として、Mini-Mental State Examination、Trail Making Test Part-A、脳卒中ドライバーのスクリーニング評価、Rivermead Mobility Index日本語版を評価する．

Outpatients, outpatients and outpatient rehabilitation patients, and subjects over 75 years old with a driver's license recruited from the general public will be asked to observe the same driving video with the intention of driving themselves. In addition, Mini-Mental State Examination, Trail Making Test Part-A, screening evaluation for stroke drivers, and Japanese version of Rivermead Mobility Index will be evaluated.
