淀川キリスト教病院の健診で腹部超音波検査を施行した患者。

15,859 healthy subjects underwent abdominal ultrasonography (US) between April 2012 and March 2013. In the cyst absent cases, those not achieving the complete image of whole pancreas were excluded. Finally, 9,363 subjects were included in this study. IPMN was defined as more than 5mm pancreatic cyst with the presence of communication to the main pancreatic duct or the presence of multilocular form. Multivariable logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify the risk factors of IPMN in comparison with the subjects without cysts, adjusted by clinical characteristics.

2012年4月から2013年3月の間に健診で施行した15,859人を対象とした。膵臓が完全に描出できなかった症例は除外し最終的に9,363人を登録した。IPMNは5mm以上の嚢胞で主膵管と交通があるか多房性であるものとした。臨床的背景を一致させ多変量解析を行い嚢胞のない対象と比較しIPMNのリスクを評価した。
