2週間に1度以下の評価を行う。
①歯肉炎指数Gingival index: GI
②プラークの付着状況：plaque control record：PCR
③歯肉状態：プロービングポケットデプス（PD）・PMA Index
④唾液によるカリエスリスクおよび抗酸化力を評価する。
⑤口腔内状況は、簡易検査キット（Salivary Multi Test：SMT）によってう蝕菌、酸性度、緩衝能、白血球、たんぱく質、アンモニアの6項目を測定する。

主な結果/Results

日本語
解析対象は20代女性34名(平均年齢20.8±1.0歳)とした。L8020群において、介入前と比べてPESAは2週間後と4週間後、PCRおよびPISAは4週間後に有意に減少した（p<0.001）。食品群間では、介入前と2週間後のPESA変化量に有意な差が認められた（p=0.008）。う蝕活動性試験、PMA、PISA、PCRでは、各測定時点や時点間の変化量において食品群間の有意な差は認められなかった。L8020乳酸菌代謝物含有チョコレートの口腔内環境への影響を評価した結果、歯周組織の状態改善の可能性が示された。

In the L8020 group, PESA significantly decreased after 2 and 4 weeks, and PCR and PISA significantly decreased after 4 weeks compared to preintervention (p<0.001). There was a significant difference in PESA change between food groups before and after 2 weeks of intervention (p=0.008). The results of the evaluation of the effect of chocolate containing L8020 lactobacillus metabolites on the oral environment indicated the possibility of improving periodontal tissue condition.

本研究では広島大学に勤務する教員・職員または広島大学に通う学生のうち、以下の選択基準のすべてを満たし、除外基準のいずれにも該当しない者を研究対象者として選択した。
1) 選択基準
① 同意取得時の年齢が20歳以上、65 歳未満の者
② 治療が不要な口腔状態の者
③ 本研究の参加に関して本人からの同意が文書で得られる者
2) 除外基準
① 乳製品と大豆アレルギーを有する者
② 登録時に歯科治療中の者
③ 糖尿病に罹患している者
④ 脳梗塞・神経系疾患・頭頸部領域の外傷・手術の既往がある者
⑤ 登録前４週間以内にL8020含有製品を摂取している者
⑥ 研究責任者および研究分担者の授業を受けている者
⑦ その他、研究責任者または研究分担者が不適当と認めた者

In this study, the research subjects were selected from among faculty and staff working at Hiroshima University or students attending Hiroshima University who met all of the following selection criteria and did not meet any of the exclusion criteria.
1) Selection criteria
1) Age at the time of consent: 20 years or older but less than 65 years old.
2) Those who have an oral condition that does not require medical treatment.
(iii) Persons whose consent to participate in this study was obtained in writing.
2) Exclusion criteria
1) Subjects with allergies to dairy products and soy
2) Patients undergoing dental treatment at the time of enrollment
3) Patients with diabetes mellitus
4) Patients with a history of cerebral infarction, neurological disease, trauma or surgery in the head and neck region
(5) Those who have consumed L8020-containing products within 4 weeks prior to enrollment.
(vi) Persons who are taking classes from the principal investigator and the research assistant.
(vii) Other subjects deemed inappropriate by the principal investigator or research assistant.

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

研究方法は、L8020チョコレート(株式会社ドウシシャ　東京)とL8020乳酸菌を含有しないプラセボチョコレート(株式会社ドウシシャ　東京)を４週間の休止期間を挟んでそれぞれ４週間対象者に使用してもらい、各チョコレートの摂取開始時、摂取2週間後、終了時、摂取終了2週間後の合計7回、唾液検査と同一歯科衛生士の国家資格を持つ者により歯科検診を行い、検診票に記入し、口腔内写真の撮影を行った。介入開始時にはアンケート調査も行った。研究デザインは対象者と検診を行う歯科衛生士の国家資格を持つ者へのプラセボ対照無作為化二重盲検クロスオーバー比較試験と探索的研究である

The research method was to have the subjects use L8020 chocolate (DOSHISHA Co., Ltd., Tokyo) and placebo chocolate (DOSHISHA Co., Ltd., Tokyo) containing no L8020 lactobacilli for 4 weeks each with a 4-week pause in between. At the beginning of each chocolate consumption, 2 weeks after consumption, at the end of consumption, and 2 weeks after the end of consumption, a total of 7 times, a saliva test and a dental checkup were conducted by the same nationally certified dental hygienist, who filled out a checkup form and took intraoral photographs. A questionnaire was also administered at the beginning of the intervention. The study design was a placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, crossover controlled trial and exploratory study of the subjects and the nationally certified dental hygienist performing the examinations
