虚血性心疾患は欧米における死亡率の主たる原因であるが，我が国でも近年，生活習慣の欧米化に伴い，その罹病率と死亡率の増加が問題となっている。虚血性心疾患をはじめとする動脈硬化性疾患は生活習慣によって発症，進展するという観点から，近年はその予防戦略として小児期からの集約的かつ根本的な対応がなされる必要性について論じられている。すなわち冠動脈疾患の疾患基盤である動脈硬化性病変は，小児期すでにその初期病変の危険因子の存在による進展が病理学的に証明されている。またリスクの減少は， 動脈硬化の発症を遅らせその経過を変えることができることも多くのエビデンスをもって証明されてきており，冠動脈疾患の一次予防は小児期において始めるべきものとする認識を持つべき時代が到来したといえるであろう。すでに小児期におけるメタボリックシンドロームの診断基準が確立しており、それに基づき学校や家庭などで運動や食事など必要な介入が行われているが、その効果については明らかではない。今回小児期における各種生活習慣病パラメータにおける管理実態を明らかにすることで今後の介入戦略への見直しなどが可能となる。本研究の結果を公表することで社会への啓蒙になると考え、その社会的意義は大きいと考える。

From the viewpoint that arteriosclerotic diseases such as ischemic heart disease develop and develop according to lifestyle habits, in recent years, the necessity of intensive and fundamental correspondence from childhood as a preventive strategy is discussed There. That is, arteriosclerotic lesions, which are the disease basis of coronary artery disease, have already been progressed pathologically by the existence of risk factors for their early lesions in childhood. In addition, it is also evidence that reduction in risk can delay the onset of arteriosclerosis and change its course also has been proven with many evidences, the era in which primary prevention of coronary artery disease should begin in childhood It can be said that it has arrived. Diagnostic criteria for metabolic syndrome have already been established in childhood, and necessary interventions such as exercise and diet are being carried out at school and home based on that, but the effect is not clear. By clarifying the management status of various lifestyle - related disease parameters in childhood this time, it becomes possible to review the future intervention strategy. We believe that publishing the results of this research will be an enlightenment for society, and think that its social significance is great.
