日本語
健常人と泌尿生殖器疾患患者（腎癌、前立腺癌、膀胱癌、精巣癌、副腎腫瘍等）の血中及び尿中における有機酸や糖および脂質などの代謝物を対象としてメタボローム解析を行い、泌尿生殖器疾患の早期診断や治療の有効性の指標となる新規バイオマーカーを探索することを目的とする。

To detect new biomarkers of genitourinary diseases (kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer and adrenal cancer), we investigate metabolites of blood and urine between normal volunteers and patients.

日本語
低分子代謝産物であるメタボロームを質量分析計にて解析することで、様々な疾患のバイオマーカー探索が進められている。これまで、胃がん、大腸がんおよびすい臓がんなど疾患において代謝物の解析がなされているが、泌尿生殖器疾患に関する報告は僅かである。そこで、質量分析計を用いたメタボローム解析により、泌尿生殖器疾患における新規バイオマーカーを探索することで、これからの泌尿生殖器疾患診療に貢献できるものと考える。
