原発性直腸癌に対して低位前方切除術後に新規開発した経肛門ドレーン(WING DRAIN)を留置することによって、術後縫合不全発症率を改善しうるか否か、安全性・有用性を前向きに評価する第Ⅱ相試験

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1.　腫瘍下縁が肛門縁から10cm以内の原発性直腸癌で待機手術例。
2.　直腸原発腫瘍の生検にて、組織学的に直腸腺癌が証明されている。
3.　他のがん種に対する治療も含めて、直腸切除術(ただし局所切除を除く)の既往がない。
4.　器械吻合再建を伴う(超)低位前方切除術を予定する。
5.　術前イレウスを発症していない症例。
6. 十分な臓器機能を有する。
7. PS(Performance Status (ECOG)) が0、1のいずれか
8. 試験参加について患者本人から文書にて同意が得られている。

1. Rectal cancer is located at within 10cm above the anal verge
2. Histologically proven rectal adenocarcinoma on biopsy
3. Initial operation for rectal cancer excluding local excision
4. The patients undergoing low anterior resection with mechanical anastomosis
5. The patients have no ileus preoperatively.
6. Organ function is preserved
7. Patient with ECOG performance status of 0, 1, or 2
8. Written informed consent to participation in this trial
