地域高齢者15名を対象に、週1回、6週間の園芸活動を実施し、実施前後で意欲、抑うつ、ADL、QOL、MMSEの尺度による評価を実施し、園芸活動の効果を明らかにする。

主な結果/Results

日本語
地域在住高齢者15名に対して週1回，6週間，計6回の園芸作業を屋内で実施した．作業内容は対象者1人につき1鉢（プランター）の管理を基本とし野菜や花を継続的に育てた．介入前後に主観的QOL，MMSE，GDS-15，TMIG-ICの評価を実施した．すべての介入終了後に活動内容に関するアンケート調査を実施した．
結果，介入前後でMMSEとTMIG-ICの得点に変化は認められなかったが，主観的QOLとGDS-15の評価尺度について，介入後の得点が5%水準で有意な改善が認められた．

The community elderly were invited to participate in a 6-weeks horticultural activities program.Regarding QOL, the participants exhibited a significant improvement in mood, life satisfaction, degree of happiness, after the intervention. Regarding GDS-15 score, the participants exhibited a significant decrease after the intervention. TMIG-IC, and MMSE scores remained unchanged after the intervention.
