目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
精神疾患患者からiPS 細胞を樹立し、神経細胞や脳組織などに誘導して精神疾患の病態・発症機序の同定や、新薬開発における薬剤評価系を確立することを目的とする。さらに、精神疾患の病態と関連があるとされる血管、血球、腸管、マクロファージや精神疾患患者で合併症や副作用の懸念が生じる心臓についても誘導・解析する。以上により、精神疾患病態の総合的な理解を目指す。

This study aims to establish iPS cells from patients with psychiatric disorders, differentiate them into such as neuronal cells and brain tissues, and identify disease mechanisms while developing a drug evaluation system. Additionally, we will induce and analyze blood vessels, blood cells, the gut, macrophages, and the heart, which are linked to psychiatric disorders and potential comorbidities. Through these efforts, we seek a comprehensive understanding of psychiatric disease pathophysiology.
