I-gelの成人用には適切な挿入長になるように印があるが小児用にはない。I-gelを適正な位置に挿入した時の接続部の羽から門歯までの距離や門歯からI-gel先端までの距離を測定し、身長や体重との相関関係を検討する

There is no horizontal line which stands ideal position of teeth for pediatric sizes because of the greater variability in the length of the oro-phatyngeal-laryngeal arch in children. We investigated that the depth of i-gel were measured in each pediatric sizes from size 1.5 to 2.5.
