胸骨ピン未使用群:
ステンレス製の胸骨ワイヤー6本(胸骨柄 2本、胸骨体 4本)のみで閉胸する。ワイヤーは直接胸骨を貫通させるようにする。ワイヤーはtwistした後にワイヤー持針器で前方に引き上げ、ワイヤーにたるみが生じないように十分な増し締めを加える。

sternal pin(-) group:
Sternums of all patients will be closed with 6 stenless wires alone. The upper 2 wires should pierce the sternal manubrium and the lower 4 wires should pierce the sternal body. They should be twisted tightly.

胸骨ピン使用群: 上記の胸骨ワイヤーによる閉鎖法に加えて胸骨ピン2本を併用して閉胸する。
(胸骨ピンは第1,2、第4,5胸骨ワイヤーの中間点に挿入する)

The sternums should be closed as mentioned above. Additionally 2 sternal pins (Granfix) should be inserted into bone barrow; one between the 1st and 2nd wire, and the other between the 4th and 5th wire.

20歳未満、80歳以上
透析患者
ポリ-L-乳酸過敏症
手術前より鎮痛剤を使用している患者
必ず胸骨ピンによる治療を希望される患者
同意が得られない患者
その他主治医が不適当と判断した患者
