目的/Objectives

目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
本研究では、高齢者が安全に運転することが可能な期間（運転寿命）の延伸において、認知トレーニング、安全教育および実車教習の効果を明らかにすることを目的とする。介入プログラムの有効性を調べるために、ITT（Intention-to-treat）解析を用いて、一般化線形モデルや混合効果モデルによる検証を行う。

The purpose of the study is to identify the effects of cognitive training, safety education, and safety driving skills training program on decreasing car accidents in older people.The mixed effect model and generalized linear model with intention-to-treat analysis are performed to examine the effects of intervention program.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

以下のすべてを満たす者を対象とする。

１．自立生活が可能な地域在住の65歳以上の高齢者
２．全般的な認知機能、記憶、注意機能、遂行機能、処理速度のいずれかの検査において、年齢層（5歳階級）および教育年数別の平均値±（1.5×標準偏差）を下回る
３．週3回以上の自動車運転の習慣を有する

Subject who fulfill the following all criteria
1. Independent adults aged 65 years and older living within the community
2. objective mild cognitive impairment (indicated by an age- and education-adjusted score at least 1.5 SDs below the reference threshold in one or more specific cognitive domains including memory, attention, executive function, processing speed, and global cognition)
3. usual driving habit: 3 days/week and more

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
次のうち1つでも該当する場合は除外とする
１．認知症の現病もしくは既往がある
２．パーキンソン病などの重度な神経疾患の現病もしくは既往がある
３．MMSEが20点以下
４．認知機能検査を受けることができない
５．日本国内で有効な運転免許証を有していない、もしくは有していても日常的に自動車を運転していない（週2回以下）

2. serious neurological or musculoskeletal diagnoses, such as Parkinson's disease and others
3. Mini-Mental State Examination score 20 and below
4. incapable of taking cognitive performance tests
5. not having Japanese driver's license or having less driving habit (2days/week and less)
